2. As a former jewelry store manager, I can tell you that a Woman can make good money in a jewelry store over a man, however, it really depends on the woman. This may sound sexist, but I have personally watched it. Here are the reasons: 1) Good Looking- A man enetering a Jewelry store is always apt to go to the "hot-looking" sales girl. Human Nature 2) Flirtation- a little wink, a friendly nudge, a charming smile...all help nail a sale..increasing commission 3) Well- Dressed- I notice a little Low-Cut, really works wonders. 4) Record Keeping- Most women are more adapt in keeping good customer records over men.
