How do I remove the trim rings from my wheels?
I have chrome trim rings on the wheels of my Blazer. They're rusty and ugly, and I want to remove them. I figure they can't be too hard to get off since one has already vanished over the winter, and a second came off when I slid off the road last week. I figure if I'm down by two, I might as well remove the other two. Is it just a matter of prying them off? Can I just pop them off with my fingers? I just want to make sure I'm not going to ruin anything on my wheels. Thanks! Heh, I'm not too worried about ruining my nails...

- try popping it off
- just pry... they work like most other hub caps.
- screwdriver will do the job, dont want you ruining your nails!
- two ways beat them, with a rubber mallet. pry them out ,with a flat screw driver.
- Just pry them off with a large screwdriver,it won't hurt anything.
- use a big flat screw driver and pry it off.
- use a flat screw driver and no harm will be done
- insert a pry bar or screwdriver between the outside edge of the rim and the edge of the trim slide the driver around til you find the clip ( just try to find the tightest spot between the rim and trim) then twist the driver til the trim pops loose repeat the process til the whole thing pops off
- just stick a screwdriver between the rim and the beauty ring and pry it off.
