kay jewelers lost my engagement ring should they have to do more than just replace it with the same ring?
I took my engagement ring to kay jewlers to be repaired, and it was lost in transit. it was insured and they will replace it with the same ring, but what about the sentimental value. Someone is wearing the ring my fiance proposed to me with 3 years ago, and it is not me. i am hurt and wonder should they have to compensate me with an upgrade or store credit or something?

- They don't have to b/c there is no money value for sentiment unfortunately. However I'd complain to everyone--managers, regional managers, company CEOs and for good customer relations they SHOULD offer your some compensation but legally they don't have to.
