What belly jewelry is the least visible through clothes?

I'm getting a belly button piercing but I want it to be subtle and not show through my clothes. Obviously, barbells are the most typical jewelry choice- does the 5 mm top ball show through clothing? Is there a different type of jewelry that is more subtle? Help please =D Ha did I say anything about my parents... at all? I just want to be able to hide it for professional reasons.

1. i dont know becaus e i dont have mine pierced but if you still have when /if you have kids take it out while your pregnant or it will stretch out and be weird

3. I have my bellybutton pierced. The ball is always going to show through clothing. So it kinda looks like you have a mole on your stomach. Its no biggie. My piercing is silver with a sun on it. Its cute
4. I have your average barbell and it NEVER shows through my clothing, unless I'm wearing a very very tight stretchy top, which is like, never. They make the balls smaller and flatter depending on the style, but don't worry about a regular one showing through. Oh yeah, I've had mine pierced for 4 years and my parents don't know. I think that's enough proof.

8. I'd say try to find a retainer (they are less visible) that you can place in after your piercing heals, and choose a really small gauge! But for the first six months or so it could be hard to hide without loose fitting shirts.
