Can I work at 2 different Jewelry stores?

ok, If I we're to work mornings at one jewelry store and nights at another, is it legal or is it a policy the company has set? I work at a jewelers and applied at another one for nights, when I went in for my interview the man said I could not work at both. I could have another job just not 2 jewelry ones..? please help! Thanks.

2. it all depends upon the capacity or the post that u hold. lower the level, less adverse it is. so long as the jewellery u r working now does not object and so long as u r sure it is not unethical to work in 2 jewellers at a time, it is fine.
