How often do slip rings fail on oil drilling rigs and how long does it take to replace the failed ring?

I am interested in slip ring reliability on oil drilling platforms. What is the average cost of a failure in a slip ring? What is the time taken to replace a failed slip ring? How much do slip rings for oil drilling applications typically cost? Any information much appreciated.

1. Metals are by nature hard and after mixing in it with oils it slip there so avoid to use of oils while you are wearing rings.........
