I want to know why the jewelry stores sell diamonds with gold less than 18K??
I dont understand why they sell jewelry of 14k gold or less than that with diamonds...

- Because they're in business and people buy it.
- Because not everyone can afford a 24K gold ring, but they still want a ring. Also, if it is more pure gold, then it is softer and more likely to bend or break.
- 18 K gold is softer than 10K or 14K. 10K being the most durable. If you have a ring made of 18K, it tends to bend easily and if you have a Tiffiny (6 pronged setting) then the prongs will bend easier and you will run a better chance of losing the stone.
- Not everyone likes gold over 14K. It has a different look. 14K is the standard. If you don't like it just make sure and ask everytime.
